FIRST RACE – MIKEY BONES first off the claim for O'Neill, switches to Bejarano while moving up a notch and should be on or near the lead throughout in a field without much pace.
JUNGLE GIRL takes a nosedive in class, draws the rail, knows how to win races and fits well on speed figures. She's strictly the one to beat.
SPORTS EDITION is another tackling easier company today and could be a factor from off the pace.
Long shot: Red Lollipop.
SECOND RACE – PEREGIAN is a useful Australian import making her debut for Drysdale and the works indicate she's fit and ready. Bejarano should have her in an ideal ground-saving , pace stalking position throughout.
BAHAMA MAMA exits the best races and should be able to establish the pace. She's the likely choice and one to beat.
CHOCOLATE LAVA is sharp and improving and looks dangerous once again while seeking her third straight score.
Long shot: Private Banking.
THIRD RACE – LITTLE BRENDA stretches out for the first time, switches to Bejarano and seems as good as any in a soft maiden claimer for fillies and mares.
KERMITRA arrives from Kentucky after facing tougher straight maiden types, has a good series of works over the track and should fit nicely in this league.
WHY WHYNOT usually closes well and should at least clunk up for a piece of it.
Long shot: Forgiving Spirit.
FOURTH RACE – DREWTHEGENTLEMAN adds blinkers, drops again in class and figures to be on or near the lead throughout in a field lacking in early zip.
SYNDICATOR, a class dropper in the red hot Sadler barn, may be the best of the closing types.
UXMAL drops again in class and fits with these with anything close to his best race.
Long shot: Media Man.
FIFTH RACE – QUITE THE MAN tipped his hand when finishing a close second in a similar spot last month and looks ready to graduate while stretching out for the first time.
JOSHUA'S DREAM is improving with racing and seems the one to fear most.
HERE COMES BUSTER drops to the bottom maiden claiming level and should improve enough to pose a threat.
Long shot: Valentine Vow.
SIXTH RACE – POLISH PETE bids for his third straight win and appears sharp enough to handle this double jump in class. Garcia seems to fit this late-running sprinter perfectly.
SKYSPY, a route to sprint play, switches to Nakatani and should be prominent throughout.
PACK YOUR BAGS looked good rallying from off the pace to beat a softer field in good time and steps up to levels for new trainer Puype while retaining Bejarano.
Long shot: De Car Guy.
SEVENTH RACE – DR. SKIMMING disappointed when finishing fourth as the favorite last month at Hollywood Park but should return to winning form in this below par field for the level. He lands the good rail and Bejarano should have him on or near the lead throughout.
PUT IT IN WRITING will race coupled with our top pick and the entry could run one two.
KING OF THE CITY shortens up for his comeback, has trained well for Mulhall and may be a better type this time around.
Long shot: So Bewarned.
EIGHTH RACE – CRASH LANDING drops into a claimer for the first time, has little to beat, and looks ready to graduate. He retains Bejarano and dominates on speed figures.
ANTIQUE AVENUE returns off a long layoff for Bell, seems to be training nicely and chased much tougher in his only start as a 2-year-old. He should fit with these.
RUNONDEMAND adds blinkers, has shown some early speed and should stick better at this level.
Long shot: Already Wild.
Best Bet: Crash Landing (8th)
