FIRST RACE –
NASCAR JOHNNY drops another notch, adds blinkers and looks well placed for a maiden score with continued improvement. Bejarano stays aboard for O'Neill.
SCOREWITHCATER is a first-timer from the Koriner barn with a series of promising drills to his credit. He won't have to be a world-beater to act with these.
FORM A POSSE has an improving pattern and should be running on well late.
Long shot: Mensa Heat.
SECOND RACE –
NO NAME JUST GAME has improving speed figures for Mullins, a good recent effort over the track, and a closing style that works over this racetrack. Baze should have her along in time.
SHESALITTLEPISTOL broke her maiden last month with a competitive number and should fit nicely in this modest restricted claimer.
FOUND IN DARK tackles much easier today and may improve enough to get a piece of it.
Long shot: Seattle Avenue.
THIRD RACE –
TIGLEY returns to the bottom rung maiden claiming level and gets a good spot to make amends for his recent defeat as the favorite. Talamo should have him on or near the lead throughout.
MICHAEL'S NOTES had speed vs. straight maidens in his debut last month and figures to stick much better today in this softer spot with a race under his belt.
NO PRODIGAL is a first-timer with a series of solid works. He's bred for speed and should come out firing.
Long shot: Norco Pal.
FOURTH RACE –
STORMY GAME stretches out and tries grass for the first time and could be long gone on the front end if not pressured early. He's been a bit of a money burner of late but should be a square price today.
DRY MAN'S GULCH is improving with racing and earned a sharp number when pulverizing a soft field up north. He gets Gomez and the rail and is strictly the one to beat.
RON BOB fits on numbers and could be dangerous from off the pace.
Long shot: Quarter Moon.
FIFTH RACE –
SQUIRE TRELAWNY improved when a good runner-up in a strong race for the level last month, adds blinkers, and appears ready to graduate in a modest bottom rung maiden claiming dash.
TIZSONG earned a career top figure when second in a similar race recently and won't have to improve much to earn his diploma.
GOING FORWARD ran decently in his recent comeback and should move forward off that effort for good trainer Miller.
Long shot: Black Magic.
SIXTH RACE –
GAMBLER'S JUSTICE returns to the first level allowance ranks after tackling stakes types in her last pair. The Spawr-trained filly should be within striking range throughout.
SAYIT stretches out for the first time and likely will try gate to wire tactics. She's a solid fit based on her sprint numbers.
SANGAY failed as the choice vs. similar recently but seems capable of better and is worth using in the exotics.
Long shot: Seven Steps.
SEVENTH RACE –
IDIOT PROOF tries turf for the first time and if he likes the lawn he should be long gone on the front end at this abbreviated sprint distance. The works indicate he's fit and ready.
GET FUNKY is a superb turf sprinter and is strictly the one to beat, although five furlongs might be a tad sharp for him.
BONFANTE always gives his best and should be firing through the lane.
Long shot: Barber.
EIGHTH RACE –
THE SUPPLY PROGRAM drops for the money run and a repeat of either one of his last two races should land him in the winner's circle today.
BRAVE SUN is another class dropper with a strong look in this bottom rung affair, assuming he's in one piece.
CORONADO'S PRIDE figures to be on the front end from his inside post and will take them as far as he can.
Long shot: Pawnee.
Best bet: Idiot Proof (7th)
